Reflection on the Matter of Choices

Human beings are fragile creatures. We move along our paths in search of something we cannot describe or comprehend, carrying with us every experience we have had, both good and bad, weighed down not only by the choices we have made for ourselves, but by those which others in our lives have made. It is a heavy burden for such small shoulders. In this essay, the author takes a philosophical approach to handling the guilt and disappointment that may arise when looking back at choices made.
